Now this is always up for debate, so many factors, feelings, elves, candy canes... It is a tough call to make. But that is what we do, we make the tough calls so you don't have to. Now we all have our favorite Christmas movie, but is it really the best? 

Some people will hit you right out of the gate with a Christmas Story, Charlie Brown Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, and those are ok, maybe even pretty good, but the best? Not a chance.

What makes a Christmas movie the best is that it covers the big three. Hope, Family, and Revenge. Revenge you say? That's hardly the Christmas spirit?! You couldn't be more wrong. Revenge is the basis of all great Christmas movies. Revenge is what gets the presents delivered, revenge gets the sleigh off the ground, revenge brings families together.

Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer

This is the touching story of sweet revenge. Those other reindeers wouldn't let Rudolph play in any reindeer games. They basically bully him into a spiraling chasm of self doubt, but Rudolph takes those insults and turns them into the burning white hot fuel he needs to pull the sleigh and save the day and make those other reindeers bow down to the greatness. 

Die Hard

Now if this isn't on everyone's list as one of the greatest Christmas movies ever then it's time they sat themselves in front of the tv and revisit one of the greatest Christmas stories ever told. The terrorists: Karl, Franco, Tony, Theo, Alexander, Marco, Kristoff, Eddie, Uli, Heinrich, Fritz, James, and of course, Hans Gruber, you could put antlers on them and it's basically Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer all over again. With John McClane as Rudolph, and the Nakatomi building as the North Pole.

Home Alone

This is just a thinly guised copy of Die Hard for kids. One child soldier's war against terror. Throw a white tank top on Macaulay Culkin and we dare you to not see the similarities.  

Now you know the formula for how to judge if your favorite Christmas movie is indeed one of the greats. Many of you were surprised on what a huge role revenge plays in the holiday season, but it is true. Revenge is a great motivator for doing good, and for helping others. Now get out there and spread some revenge this Christmas.

Thermos Brand

Thermos got their start back in 1904, but has really struggled over the last 110 years until we started talking to them about a collaboration. Oh sure, they've sold millions of their Thermoss? Thermoses? Thermosis? What is the plural of Thermos's?...but the real deal Thermos will be the HMNIM x Thermos collab.

Vannen Watches

A few of you saw this next one coming. We teamed up with Vannen for the Filmage documentary of Descendents/ALL. They're good folks, and we like to work with good people. So, yes a watch is in the works with our fine friends at Vannen. 

This exclusive piece was designed and created by Mark Hoppus and Rich Simmons. Rich, who you may know already from the collab he's done with HMNIM, but in case you don't, he's an award-winning street artist. Do they give awards to artists? Apparently they do and Rich has the trophies to prove it.

Rich described the piece so we didn't have to and here's what he said, "the painting was done to compliment the print run we did for HMNIM and has the same color pattern and was sprayed by both myself and Mark. The background is created using reclaimed billboards and the skullapus stencil was created just for this painting and collaboration. The money raised from this exclusive painting will go towards running more exciting art workshops with Teens Unite and Art is the Cure".

The canvas has been signed by both Mark and Rich as both of them worked on the painting in Rich's London studio. And the painting is 1 of only 3 that were made. The other 2 are owned by Mark and Rich.

100% of the proceeds will go to the charity Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.

The canvas is 24 inches wide by 24 inches high and will be shipped by courier or can be collected from the Teens Unite office in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire (just north of Hogwarts). Click HERE for the ebay link to the auction.

This Friday marks HMNIM's first sale. Known commonly as "Black Friday", it gets its name from when a customer falls as they race through doors, tripping on a rug while running toward a TV marked down 20%, it is then that all light is "blacked" out as hundreds frantic moms trample the weakling into a cartoonish pancake shape.

Well your friends here at HMNIM don't want you to be trampled by moms. Our sale is just online, where you can order from the comfort of your home, no camping out in the cold with a bunch of strangers. But if that is your thing, you could camp out in front of your own home, and at midnight burst into your house, push over your loved ones as you race to the computer to get that same rush.

This Friday will mark the four days of 40% off, ending at midnight on Monday, December 2nd. Four days to pick up some tees, hats, polos all at 40% off. There's not much we can say about Filmage that we haven't already said a million times before. It is an amazing film that should be required watching for everyone wanting to start a band or make a film. You could hate the Descendents, hate music, hate documentaries, and you will walk away loving all three. We loved it so much we went all the way to London to give our support to the Filmage guys.
